A Guthrie Center man was sentenced for his fourth drug conviction this week following a June 26th incident.

According to court documents, 36-year-old Jordan Daniel Liggett pled guilty to amended charges of possession of methamphetamine – second offense and possession of marijuana – second offense, both aggravated misdemeanors. Two year prison sentences for Liggett were suspended and he is sentenced to two years probation for each offense, to be served consecutively. Liggett must pay all surcharges, restitution for legal fees, court costs, and jail charges. Liggett’s wife Karrie McCrea also faces controlled substance charges and class B felony charges for distributing to a minor. The couple was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after an 11-year-old child and her mother informed the sheriff’s office that during a sleepover at McCrea and Liggett’s residence, McCrea offered marijuana to her stepdaughter and the other minor. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
