The Panorama volleyball team went 1-3 at a large competition in Perry Thursday.

The panthers made the trip to play four three-set matches against Ogden, Perry, Earlham, and Des Moines North. The night did not get off to a great start as Panorama fell to Ogden in two sets, 21-15 and 21-12. Their woes continued as they fell to the host Jayettes 21-16 and 21-10. The Panthers found a bit of life competing with Earlham. They fell 21-12 in the first set but gave Earlham a run for their money in the second before falling 21-19.

The Panthers were determined to end the night on a high note. They won their first set against Des Moines North 21-17, then outlasted North 23-21 in a thrilling second set.

Panorama falls to 5-6 on the season. The Panthers will try to get back to .500 Tuesday when they host Pleasantville.
