A reminder, tonight is the first-ever Football Showdown for the Greene County Youth Athletic Association 5th and 6th grade tackle football game. 

It starts with a community meal serving  hotdogs for $5 and burgers for $7 with chips and a drink from 5-6:30pm. The game will kick-off at 5:30 at Linduska Field next to the Greene County High School in Jefferson. The high school football team will be signing autographs and the cheerleaders will be rooting for both teams. Plus, Raccoon Valley Radio’s Lil’ Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live from 4-6pm and making local announcements until 7. 

The game is free and open to the public, and the event benefits the high school and the GCYAA football program.
