The AC/GC cross country team did not have to leave Guthrie Center to put on a dominant performance.

AC/GC welcomed in Perry, Cam, and Martensdale St. Marys for the 2019 AC/GC Charger XC Invitational. The girls team entered the meet ranked #8 in Class 2A, and they competed like it. Kate Crawford took first place individually with Rylee Sloss and Kiersten Knobbe finishing in third and fourth place. The Chargers rolled to finish first place 39 points ahead of Perry who finished runner-up.

The boys found similar success earning first place as a team. They were led by Trevin Suhr who finished first in 18:37, he was followed by Ben Young and Miles Kading who earned second and third individually.

The Chargers will look to continue their success Thursday when they make the trip to West Central Valley.
