The Dallas Center Grimes Mustangs has rattled off four straight wins to jump to a 4-1 record on the season and continue to relay on a defense that has been opportunistic with seven forced turnovers on the year and only given up 8.8 points per game, including pitching two shutouts.

The defense has had a extremely solid unit all year long, and have been led by senior Jacob Waldron who has 36.5 total tackles on the year and four sacks as well. Junior Blake Willey also has 34 tackles and four sacks on the season as well, as those two have caused a lot of havoc for opposing defenses all season long.

The Mustangs will look to relay on their defense this upcoming week when they travel to Humboldt.
