A two-vehicle collision resulted in minor injuries in Greene County Monday night.

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s office, a deputy responded to the crash at the uncontrolled intersection of J Avenue and 170th Street at 6:47pm. Sixty-three-year-old Lester Johns of Scranton was traveling south on J Avenue in his 1991 Chevrolet C-1500 truck, when he was struck by a 2006 Toyota Tundra truck, driven by a 16-year-old female from Jefferson.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the incident and both vehicles were totaled. The female was taken to the Greene County Medical Center with minor injuries and Johns was uninjured. Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio no citations were issued.
