The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider approving an engineering agreement with Bolton and Menk for services including a wastewater facility plan, a water main improvement project for Chestnut and Adams streets, and adding Daubendiek Trail improvements to the Greenewood and Central Avenue Trail improvement projects. Additionally, the Council will consider for approval purchasing two heating units for the wastewater plant, a resolution of support for Jefferson Matters: Main Street and the third and final readings to amend an ordinance to increase water and sewer rates each by three-percent. Finally, the Council will hear an update on the Greene County Animal Facility project.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
