In the wee hours of Saturday morning the Iowa High School Athletic Association released football playoff pairings. The postseason begins on Friday, Nov. 1 in all six classes. The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will begin the postseason by following Greene County, Panorama, and Dallas Center-Grimes in their quests to win State titles.

Greene County will make a short trip to Urbandale to face Des Moines Christian on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. The Rams are 8-1 and the number eight seed in 2A while the Lions, also 8-1, are seeded ninth.

Panorama goes northeast to Dike to take on Dike-New Hartford in 1A action. The D-NH 9-0 and is seeded fourth while the Panthers are 8-1 and have lost only to top-seeded Van Meter. Panorama is the number eighth seed. This game will be broadcast on KKRF and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

DC-G will be at home west of Grimes to play against the storied Harlan Community Cyclones in a 3A contest. The Mustangs are 8-1, the tenth seed, and winners of eight in a row while the Cyclones are 7-2 and seeded eighth. KDLS 1310 AM and 99.7 FM will have the play-by-play, as will the “live” stream on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

All three games start at 7 p.m.
