The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs were given #10 seed in the Class 3A Playoff Football Bracket.
DC-G is currently riding an 8 game winning streak, with the Mustangs most recent victory over Carroll last night, 14-7.
Dallas Center-Grimes secured their Playoff aspirations with a District Championship last night. The Mustangs are 8-1 on the season, with the lone loss coming in Week 1 on the road at Pella.
DC-G will get a home game in their first round match-up, as the Mustangs will get paired with ,#8 seed, Harlan.
Harlan will make the trip to Grimes on Friday with a 7-2 record on the season. Harlan’s two losses came on the road against Sargeant Bluff-Luton, and Glenwood. However, the Cyclones were able to take down powerhouse, Council Bluffs Lewis Central, 14-6.
The two opponents DC-G and Harlan have in common this season are Glenwood and Carroll. DC-G went 2-0 against those two schools, Harlan was 1-1.
It’ll be a home game for the Mustangs on Friday night in Grimes for first round playoff action against Harlan. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00pm. Admission is set at $8 per person.
