It was an impressive performance to showcase talents of the DC-G Cross Country runners on the biggest stage of their prep careers on Saturday at the Iowa High School State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge on Saturday.

The DC-G Boys’ finished first, and came home as State Champions on Saturday.  The Mustangs had three runners finish in the Top-10 against the whole field.  Aidan Ramsey finished fourth, followed by Bradley Ramsey at sixth, and an eighth place finish for Jacob Storey to round out the top finishes for the DC-G Boys’.  Owen Pries, Jacob Ewers, Jacob Hochstetler, and Dawson Assink also made the DC-G faithful proud to complete the Varsity roster for Dallas Center-Grimes.

The DC-G Girls’ finished runner-up, and came home with second place hardware on Saturday.  The Fillies’ Megan Sterbenz was the top finisher for DC-G in Fort Dodge.  Sterbenz was fourth against the entire field with a time of 18:45.7.  Also, Miranda Muhlstein finished eleventh, and Kami Smith was 13th on Saturday.  Hannah Little, Emma Angus, Meredith McDermott, and Lara Kellum complete the Varsity roster for DC-G.
