Scott Heitland’s Dallas Center-Grimes Football team will have one final practice today before they head westward tomorrow to face Lewis Central High School of Council Bluffs.

The Mustangs’ defense will need to be on point, much like it was last week against Harlan.

Lewis Central is an all-around talented and well disciplined football team, with just one blemish on the record this season.  The lone loss for Lewis Central came against Harlan earlier this season, 14-6.

The potent Lewis Central offense is lead by Quarterback, Bret Kobes, who has thrown for almost 1,200 yards this season.  Kobes has 13 touchdown passes, to just a pair of interceptions.  Kobes favorite target this season has been Thomas Fidone, averaging 16 yards per reception, with 7 touchdowns.

DC-G and Lewis Central will kickoff at 7:3opm tomorrow evening.  If you can’t make the trip, tune in for live, play-by-play action on 99.7FM or AM1310 KDLS.  You can also listen with our live stream at RaccoonValleyRadio.com, or on the free KDLS mobile app.
