One of the biggest questions going into the 2019 fall season for the West Central Valley Wildcats was who was going to set up the attackers for the Lady Wildcats. Senior Maria Pruitt stepped into the role and did a great job of directing traffic on the Wildcats offensive attack to end up with 263 assists on the season or about 4.24 per set.

Pruitt played on the varsity team in 2018 but did not record one single assist during the year. Pruitt’s ability to change roles and improve during the off-season is a testament to coach Kaleb Brown and his coaching staff. Pruitt will be graduating next year, so will see who will be the next player to step up next year for the Lady Wildcats volleyball team.
