As we celebrate and honor our military veterans today, there are also several offices and businesses that are closed in Jefferson due to the Veterans Day holiday.

The Greene County Courthouse, Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library and Jefferson Post Office is closed today. Library staff reminds patrons, nothing is due to the library when closed for a holiday. Jefferson City staff reminds residents that garbage routes will be delayed one day. Garbage routes will return to normal schedules next week.
