Graveside services for Leroy Nelson, 89, of Fontanelle, will be held on Friday, November 15th at 11 am at the Greenfield Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the Fontanelle American Legion Post 247. A luncheon will be held at the Fontanelle United Methodist church following the services. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 pm to 8 pm at the Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle. Family will be present from 6 pm to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to the Leroy Nelson Memorial Fund to be established by the family. Survivors include: Children, Susan Newton of Fontanelle, Sherry Simpson of Council Bluffs, Dale Nelson of Greenfield and Stacy Buxton of Creston. 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
