Perry senior Molly Lutmer has enjoyed playing basketball her entire life.  One of her early dreams was to play college basketball.  That dream became a reality Friday when the senior shooting guard signed a letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Sioux Falls, a division two women’s program.

“I just fell in love with the University after my first visit,” said Perry’s leading scorer the past 2 years.  “It felt very comfortable to me the way they play and the way the coaches work with the athletes.  I know it is a big relief to have this part of my journey complete.”

Lutmer wasn’t sure which guard position Sioux Falls is thinking for her but she certainly has some areas that she wants to improve on this upcoming season.

“I really want to work on my ball handling and breaking down the defender off the dribble.  My defense will be a priority as well.”
