Last night, the ADM Lady Tigers basketball team played in an exciting season opener that ended in victory over the Norwalk Lady Warriors 55-50. The Lady Tigers ran out to a quick lead in the first half of play to take a 34-17 lead into the break. The Lady Tigers continued their charge after the break to take a 50-25 lead late in the third.

Norwalk came storming back in the fourth but ADM held them off after a huge steal and bucket late in the game by Delaney Bertman to give the Lady Tigers a seven point lead at 52-45. They pulled away due to some Abbie Hlas free throws, who was clutch down the stretch.

Hlas led the Lady Tigers with 25 points, and made some huge plays down the stretch to get the victory. ADM is back on the court tonight for their home opener against Van Meter. Tip is expected for 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on True Country K107.9.
