The West Central Valley Lady Wildcats won their first game of the year by the score of 68-48 in a terrific performance to start their season. The Lady Wildcats took a nine point lead into the locker room before a decisive third quarter outscoring Southeast Warren by the score of 14-5. The girls were able to dictate pace and tempo for the win, and able to play quickly.

The men’s basketball team got a massive win by the score of 47-37 to complete the sweep, and got a huge game out of senior Jake Egger, who posted incredible numbers with 23 points and 25 rebounds. The defense also posted a solid game only giving up 37 points, which would’ve been their best total of the year during the 2018-19 year.

It was a great night for both teams to start the season 1-0, the boys will be playing once again on Thursday against Glidden-Ralston, the girls will be playing Odgen on Friday.
