Perry Lutheran Homes invites the community to partake in some delicious holiday treats, while also supporting their mission.
The assisted living community is once again offering Christmas Candy Boxes, which contain a wide variety of traditional favorites made by PLH residents and other volunteers. The boxes will contain a mix of treats, including but not limited to: fudge, caramels, peanut butter balls, peanut brittle, toffee, chocolate covered pretzels, and coconut bon bons. The cost is a suggested $15 donation per box, though people can donate more if they would like. PLH staff points out the base price covers the material and production cost, with the extra proceeds going to their activity fund.
