Blowing snow and slick roads are expected for the evening commute in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area Friday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for noon until 6 a.m. Saturday for Dallas and Guthrie counties. Snow accumulations of two to four inches are expected with winds gusting as high as 30 miles per hour. These conditions are expected to cause low visibility on the roads, with possible ice in the southern region of the state. High winds could also produce power outages. Snowfall is also expected Saturday with one to four inches predicted across Dallas, Greene, and Guthrie counties. Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution while driving.
