The Dallas Center-Grimes Wrestling team picked up a triangular victory over the ADM Tigers and Carlisle Wildcats on Thursday.

The Mustangs came out aggressive and were able to put up big numbers offensively versus both opponents.  DC-G defeated Carlisle 66-14, and followed it up with a win over ADM, 61-15.

DC-G impressed the crowd in Grimes with a solid first showing in the New Year.

The Mustangs also had three wrestlers finish in first place over the weekend in Ames.  Wells, Fister, and Needham all placed first in their respective classes.

Cory Stratton’s team will be back on the mat in a Little Hawkeye Conference meet this Thursday with a road trip to Oskaloosa.

DC-G’s next scheduled home dual is set for January 23 in Grimes.
