After having their last double header postponed, AC/GC will return to the hardwood tonight to square off against a familiar foe.

The Chargers will host Madrid for their second double header against the Tigers this season. In their first meeting, the AC/GC girl’s picked up a 51-36 victory over the Tigers. The Chargers saw great production from Alaina Bunde and her 14 points and saw a breakout performance from Kennedy Young who earned a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Defensively, EmmaKay McClain was causing chaos all night with her team-high four steals.

The boy’s team will try to avenge a season-opening loss. They were tasked with trying to slowdown an explosive Tiger offense and fell short losing 77-61. Seniors Bryce Littler and Quynton Younker battled all night for the teams scoring title. Littler ended up winning that battle with his 26 point performance. Younker wasn’t far behind with 22, but did earn a double-double with his 10 rebounds.
