Perry is hoping to snap a long streak of frustration in the Raccoon River Conference tonight when the Perry Jayettes host Boone in a conference clash at the Perry Sports Pavilion.  Both teams are desperate for a conference win with Perry entering 0-4 in conference play while Boone has dropped their first four conference games as well.  Boone has lost nine straight games after a season opening  win against Nevada.  The Toreadors are getting healthy however with the return of all conference player Emma Dighton.  The talented junior missed six games this season and made a successful return to the court last week in Boone’s 61-37 loss to Bondurant Farrar.

It has been nearly 2 full years since the Jayettes last won a conference game.   Perry’s last conference win was February 2nd, 2018 at Bondurant Farrar.  Perry has dropped 17 consecutive conference games since.  The Jayettes have showed dramatic improvement from last year’s 1-20 season and had a near miss last Tuesday night on the road at Winterset falling 54-51.  You can listen to tonight’s game with Shawn Kenney starting at 6:00 on KDLS.
