A winter weather advisory has been issued for the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

According to the National Weather Service, Greene, Dallas and Guthrie counties will be under a winter weather advisory from 1-7am Wednesday. Greene County Emergency Management Coordinator Dennis Morlan tells Raccoon Valley Radio possible freezing drizzle may occur tonight, which could cause a light glaze of ice on the roads. He advises slick and slow travel may occur during tomorrow morning’s commute. National Weather Service officials urge motorists to slow down, travel to the conditions of the roadway and take extra time getting to your destination tomorrow morning.
