The AC/GC boys basketball team earned another big win Friday night.
The Chargers returned to Guthrie Center to take on the Knights of Woodward-Academy. AC/GC brought their offensive fire power in the first quarter and jumped out to a 19-10 lead after the first eight minutes. The Knights closed the gap to four in the second before a late flurry extended the Charger lead to seven at halftime. The Chargers kept their foot on the gas pedal and outscored the Knights 20-9 in the third to put the game out of reach. AC/GC hung on to win 71-47. Over the last two games, the Chargers are 2-0 and have outscored their opponents 149-79.
AC/GC will be back in action Monday as Pleasantville comes to town for a varsity double header.
