A free concert has been rescheduled to tonight in Jefferson.

The Greene County High School Music Department pushed back its Pops Concert from last Thursday due to bitterly cold temperatures. Tonight’s event will feature the concert band and choir, along with the jazz band and choir. The jazz choir, Jazzatonics, will perform their contest songs, along with the jazz band performing their songs that they will also take with them to the Tall Corn Festival at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls this Thursday to try and qualify for the Iowa High School Jazz Championships. The concert band and choir will perform music from their theme of “Hoedown.”

The concert will take place at 7:30pm in the high school auditorium in Jefferson. It is free and open to the public.
