Two additional COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Dallas County Sunday.

The Iowa Department of Public Health announced Sunday an additional 38 positive cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus, including two new cases in Dallas County. The individuals were one adult (18-40 years-old) and one older adult (61-80 years-old). The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Dallas County is now 17. 

Additionally, IDPH has confirmed one additional Iowan has died from the virus. The individual was an older adult (61-80 years-old) from Linn County. The death toll for Iowa is four. There are 336 positive cases in the state with 5,013 negative tests to date, according to the State Hygienic Lab and other labs across Iowa.
