Two people have died from a helicopter crash that occurred in eastern Audubon County Tuesday afternoon.

Sources say a report from the Federal Aviation Administration shows two unidentified people died in the crash that occurred at about 4:27 p.m. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Management Agency assisted the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office in responding to the crash as did the Audubon County Emergency Management Agency, Audubon Fire & Rescue, Exira Fire Department, Audubon County Secondary Roads Department, Iowa State Patrol, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
