West Central Valley teachers and staff put wheels to the pavement Monday to show how much they miss their students and celebrate Wildcat pride.

The District held a parade Monday afternoon through their communities of Redfield, Dexter, Stuart, and Menlo. Staff decorated their cars and other local agencies participated including the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and the Stuart Fire Department. Students and parents were encouraged to witness the procession while maintaining social distancing guidelines, and several residents made signs to welcome the group.

While Monday served as a reprieve for staff and administrators to enjoy connecting with the community, the District is hard at work developing their continuous learning plan for their students as Governor Kim Reynolds recently extended the state’s school closure through April 30th. Details of the plan are to be released to parents and students this Thursday, and the District thanks everyone for their patience as they continue to navigate through this unprecedented time.
