Governor Kim Reynolds recently announced more openings and relaxed restrictions regarding COVID-19.

Starting this Friday, movie theaters, zoos, aquariums, museums, and wedding reception facilities will be allowed to open with social distancing recommendations and increased sanitizing practices. Additionally, swimming pools can open for lap swim and lessons only, while all state parks with modern restrooms, showers, and cabins will be open. However, casinos, shelters, lodges, playgrounds, group camps and visitor centers are to remain closed. 

Then starting May 28th bars and other establishments that serve alcohol will be allowed to open for indoor and outdoor seating at 50-percent capacity and follow the same public health measures as restaurants. Finally, June 1st all state high schools will be allowed to resume activities and learning, including summer sports. Additional information will be released Thursday.
