With the cancellation of spring sports official, it’s a huge hit for what was set to be a breakout season for the Panorama girls soccer team.

The girls soccer program held it’s first season in 2018. In the first two seasons the Panthers went 23-11, a remarkable accomplishment for such a young program. Year three was set to be even bigger. The Panthers finished the 2019 season with an 11-6 record. What’s even more remarkable about that is the youth the teams leaders had. Their top five scorers in Ella Waddle, Audrey and Paige Cmelik, Laci Rishel, Deanna Solorzano were all set to return as sophomores and juniors this season. The quintet accounted for 65 of the teams 75 goals. As disappointing as it is we won’t get to see Panorama on the pitch this year, the stage is set for what’s sure to be a great season in 2021. The seniors who’s Panther soccer careers ended sooner than expected are Chloe Webster and Mackenzie Reinhart.
