The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers got the official word last week that there will be high school baseball and softball this summer, but it won’t include everyone in the district. Varsity in both sports will have the ability to play but middle school baseball players will not have that opportunity due to the suspension of the season.

The Iowa Department of Education made the announcement last week that there will be no middle school baseball or softball on the year. The decision was announced last week, and took away the decision making away from schools.

ADM as of right now is planning on playing a Varsity, JV, and Freshmen baseball and softball seasons. The first practices of the season will be next Monday, and the first games are slated to be played on June 15th.
