There were new reported cases of COVID-19 in three of the counties in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area Thursday, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.

In Dallas County, the total number of positive tests increased by 11, bringing the total to 876 since the pandemic began. The cases in Guthrie County increased by three, and Adair had one additional case, with the totals now at 47 and 8, respectively. Of those cases, 557 patients in Dallas County have recovered, as well as 29 in Guthrie and three in Adair. Greene County’s numbers remain unchanged, and there were no new deaths reported in any of the counties as of Thursday. Statewide there were 262 new positive tests reported by the IDPH, for a new total of 18,524. The death toll in the state also climbed above 500, with 16 new casualties bringing the total to 503. The IDPH also points out there have been 123,388 negative tests to date, and 10,217 people recovered.
