The local high school baseball and softball teams will resume practice in June, with the seasons to commence in July, and the Perry School District is advising fans of the guidelines for attending games.

First, spectators should not attend if they are showing symptoms of COVID-19, or if they have come in contact with someone confirmed positive for the virus in the last 14 days. Face masks at the games are not required, but social distancing must be exercised at all times. As such, the bleacher seating will be very limited and fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs to space themselves out. Spectators can spread out around the field, and the right and left field wind screens will not be utilized this year to accommodate additional viewing space. There will also be no concessions sold, but coolers are acceptable and must be limited to use by single households. Restrooms will be available and will be cleaned and sanitized each night.

If you can’t make it to the games in person, you can listen to the Bluejays and Jayettes throughout the season on Raccoon Valley Radio. Live play-by-play will be broadcast on AM 1310, FM 99.7 KDLS, at RaccoonValleyRadio.com, and on our free mobile app.
