The 12th annual Guthrie’s River Ruckus will now take place in 2021, as per the country music festival organizers’ announcement this week.

The committee announced that after discussions with the artists and local entities involved with helping keep the three-day festival – which takes place at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds – a safe event, they decided it was not in the best interest to hold the event as planned this year. Headliner Miranda Lambert as well as several of the other booked acts have committed to return for the festival, now taking place July 29-31, 2021. All tickets and campsites that were already purchased will be valid for next year. Guthrie’s River Ruckus is one of several summer events in Guthrie County that have been cancelled or postponed until next year, including the Stuart Sesquicentennial and Panorama Days.
