The West Central Valley Wildcat baseball team will be hitting the ground running on Monday when they take on their Guthrie County rival Panorama in Stuart. It should be a good first test for the Wildcats, who will be taking on a Panorama team that is going to have a lot of talent.

This will be the first game for new Wildcat coach John Wheeler, who is hoping to remold the program into his image and help turn around a Wildcat program that had a losing record last year. The things that the Wildcat program will be focused on will be learning how to be competitive with a young team, and making sure that they will make improvement every single day.

Panorama went 13-9 last year and are expected to be in the upper half of the West Central Activities Conference. They sweep the Wildcats in the season series last year, and will be hoping to exact a little revenge this year.

The game will have a first pitch time of 5:00 Monday night, so don’t miss out as the Wildcats look to start the season strong.
