After months of waiting and wondering if sports would resume following the Covid 19 outbreak, and two weeks of practice since the first day of June, it’s finally game day.

Tonight, Dallas Center-Grimes Baseball and Softball heads down to Warren County to face the Warriors of Norwalk in the season opening affair.   The expectations are certainly high for both the Mustangs and Fillies in the summer season.  Steve Schlakfe’s softball club and Byron Peyton’s baseball group could both be considered the most talented teams of the Little Hawkeye Conference.

DC-G Baseball and Softball will take the plate first tonight as the visitors in Norwalk with game time set for 7:30pm.
