Dallas and Adair counties have two and one additional new positive cases of COVID-19, respectively, Monday.
The state dashboard shows Dallas County having 1,174 positive cases with 723 recoveries and 29 deaths. Adair County has 15 positive cases with 11 recoveries. Greene County remains at 28 cases with 20 recoveries, and Guthrie County remains at 64 positive cases with 50 recoveries and four deaths.
Across Iowa, 246 positive cases were added Monday for a total of 28,736. The number of recoveries increased by 123 for a total of 17,789, and three deaths were added for a total of 708. According to the Regional Medical Coordination Centers’ hospital data that can be found on the state dashboard, Region One – which includes Adair, Dallas, Greene, and Guthrie counties – shows that six individuals with COVID-19 have been admitted in the last 24 hours, compared to four yesterday. In Region One there are currently 45 hospitalized patients compared to 43 Sunday, 14 patients in Intensive Care Units compared to 13 Sunday, and seven patients on ventilators.
