The Iowa Department of Public Health reported two new positive tests for COVID-19 in Dallas County as of Tuesday, and no others in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

The new cases bring the total number in Dallas County to 1,176 since the outbreak began in March. There have also been 977 patients fully recovered in the County, and 29 deaths. The numbers stayed the same elsewhere in the area, with Guthrie County still at 64 cases, 58 recovered, and four deaths, Greene at 28 cases with 20 recovered, and Adair at 15 cases with 11 recovered. Statewide Tuesday, there were 211 new positive tests for a total of 28,947 to date. There were also five more coronavirus-related deaths in Iowa, bringing the total to 713. The IDPH also notes there have been 274,411 negative tests, and 23,096 recovered.
