adm-7

Excitement is something that has not evaded Tiger baseball all season long, and it held true again on Monday night as ADM got an exciting 4-2 victory in eight innings over Ballard. They were able to score twice in the eighth, as junior Grant Garton got a single and Cole Williamson was able to get a walk. During Senior Jaxson Millsap’s at bat, a pass ball allowed Garton to score, then Millsap provided the key hit once again to help ADM get a bigger lead.

ADM got a little more drama than they were hoping for on Monday night, as they gave up two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, both unearned as Ballard rallied. Pitcher Zach Fuller had one of his finest outings of the year, going 6 2/3, giving up zero earned runs, five hits, and ten strikeouts, as ADM was able to pick up a huge Raccoon River Conference victory. Williamson pitched the final 1 1/3 to pick up the victory.

ADM goes to 9-3 on the season and 5-1 in RCC play, while Ballard drops to 9-3. The Tigers will continue their week on the road when they head down to Norwalk tonight to take on the Warriors.
