Dallas and Guthrie counties saw increases in positive COVID-19 cases Friday.

According to the state dashboard, Dallas County added 26 new cases for a total of 1,356, with 1,052 recovieres and 31 deaths. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard, Guthrie County added two new cases for a total of 74, with 59 recoveries and four deaths. Greene and Adair counties remained the same for Friday with 29 and 17 cases respectively and no deaths. Greene County had 22 recoveries on Friday and there were 12 for Adair County.

Statewide, 636 new cases of the virus were added Friday for a total of 33,759, with 25,768 recoveries and 742 deaths. 

The Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data for Region 1 – which includes Greene, Dallas, Guthrie and Adair counties – reported 55 hospitalizations Friday, 13 were in the Intensive Care Unit and 3 were admitted for COVID-19 to a hospital within the last 24-hours.
