The 2019-20 high school sports year is over for the Greene County Rams. The Rams had the most success in the sports of football and wrestling, while COVID-19 wiped out potentially great things for the Rams, especially in boys’ soccer, and boys and girls track & field.

Todd Gordon, Greene County Activities Director, talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about how coaches can help athletes not only in-person, but also with technology. “Our job as coaches is to give kids the tools to improve and to really fall in love with that sport, and the process. It can be done in many ways, including with technology. There are some great things out there, some great tools to help kids learn, and I think it’s our job as coaches to get those in front of them. Because if we can reach them where they’re at, using technology, they’ll do it. If they really want to get better, we can help them do that.”

Official practice for high school Fall sports starts Aug. 10.
