Dallas County saw a double-digit increase in COVID-19 cases Wednesday.

According to the state dashboard, there were 15 new cases for Dallas County for a total of 1,692. They also have 1,212 individuals that have recovered and 34 deaths. Greene County remained the same with 37 cases, 29 recoveries, and zero deaths. 

According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Wednesday, Guthrie County had a total of 115 positive cases, with 71 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County had 20 positive cases with 15 recoveries and no deaths.

Statewide, there were 216 new cases Wednesday for a total of 43,243, with 31,242 recoveries and 845 deaths. Of the 464,508 people that have been tested, 419,461 were negative.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 82 hospitalized patients, with 21 in Intensive Care Units, and six admitted in the last 24 hours.
