Iowa High School Fall sports practices officially begin on Monday, Aug. 10, but the Greene County Rams Football Camp starts this Monday, Aug. 3. Head coach Caden Duncan told the details to Raccoon Valley Radio. “Monday and Tuesday is grades 7 through 12, so we’ve got the junior high there, and junior high coaches as well. We’ll be more introductory those days, going over basics and schemes Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday is just high school, nine through 12. Unfortunately, with everything going on, we’re not able to have a Youth Camp this year with the younger kids. Hopefully, we can get back to that next year.”

The coach added, “Wednesday through Friday will focus more on specifics for the high schoolers, predominately Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll end with a little fun time on Friday for the guys to end our camp.”

The Iowa High School Athletic Association released a number of items earlier this week in a document called Football: COVID-19 Fall Guidance, which is on the IHSAA website.
