Dallas County saw their biggest increase in positive COVID-19 cases this  week on Thursday.

According to the state dashboard, there were 30 new cases for Dallas County for a total of 1,722. They also have 1,233 individuals that have recovered and 34 deaths. Greene County remained the same with 37 cases, 29 recoveries, and zero deaths. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Thursday, Guthrie County had a total of 122 positive cases, with 71 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County had 20 positive cases with 15 recoveries and no deaths.

Statewide, there were 585 new cases Thursday for a total of 44,029, with 31,816 recoveries and 857 deaths. Of the 470,987 people that have been tested, 425,051 were negative.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 79 hospitalized patients, with 19 in Intensive Care Units, and nine admitted in the last 24 hours.
