The Guthrie Center Aquatic Center will be closing for the season with an event that is sure to get tails wagging this Sunday.

They are hosting a “pool pooch party” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with an entry fee of $2 per person and dogs get in free. All dogs must remain on a leash and must be up to date on their shots with documentation to prove. The pool staff reminds patrons that they will be enforcing their COVID-19 screening as part of the check-in process. For regular hours during the remainder of this week, the aquatic center is open through Sunday with 12:30-12:45 p.m. reserved for COVID-19 screenings and open swim from 12:45-3:45 p.m. They are then open for the evening with COVID-19 screenings from 5-5:15 p.m. and open swim from 5:15-8:30 p.m.
