For the first time this week, there were more recoveries than new positive COVID-19 cases reported throughout the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

 According to the state dashboard Tuesday, there were only two new cases compared to 26 recoveries in Dallas, Greene, Guthrie and Adair counties. The two new cases were reported in Dallas County for a total of 1,791. They also have 1,298 individuals that have recovered and 35 deaths. Greene County stands at 38 positive cases, with 33 recoveries, and zero deaths. According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Tuesday, Guthrie County had 124 positive cases, with 71 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County stayed the same with 21 positive cases, 15 recoveries, and no deaths. 

 Statewide, there were 160 new cases Tuesday for a total of 46,042, with 33,195 recoveries and 886 deaths. Of the 492,515 people that have been tested, 444,326 were negative.

 Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 80 hospitalized patients, with 17 in Intensive Care Units, and seven admitted in the last 24 hours.
