A water conservation alert has been ordered by the Casey City Council, effective immediately.

The Council approved the order at their meeting Monday, as the City is experiencing low water levels in the water tower due to drought conditions. The City asks that all Casey residents conserve water by not watering lawns or gardens and not filling swimming pools until the drought subsides. The City hopes that if everyone conserves water at this time, the City can avoid service disruption and a boil order advisory. The Mayor and Council thanks residents for their assistance in this pressing matter.
