The boil advisory and water conservation order issued for the City of Yale Tuesday has been lifted.

The advisory was issued due to a power outage in the City from Monday’s severe thunderstorm, and the water tower and entire system was then drained and depressurized. After the system was repressurized and chlorine residuals were restored, the City collected two sets of four bacteria samples for testing. Bottled water was offered to residents over the last few days while the orders were in place. The City thanks its residents for their cooperation.
