Due to construction and delivery delays to the new high school and career academy, the Greene County School District has announced some date changes.

Superintendent Tim Christensen says because of furniture installation delays, the first day for high school students will now be Monday, August 31st instead of the 27th. Because of this change, the limited public open house has also been moved from this Saturday to next Saturday, August 29th from 12:30-3:30pm. However, due to COVID-19 concerns and preparing the buildings for high school classes to begin on August 31st, not all rooms and areas will be available for the public to walk through. As an added precaution, anyone taking part in the walk through is required to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer when you first arrive.
