The food pantry in Jefferson is looking to unload its stock of clothing to prepare for the colder months.

Greene County Action Resource Center Manager Shirley Haupert says they are having a rummage sale this Saturday from 9am to noon. She notes that due to COVID-19 and forcing the closure of their location at 1006 North Vine Street for three months, has created a huge stockpile of spring and summer clothing. Everyone is invited to purchase a bag of clothing and shoes for one dollar during the rummage sale. 

Haupert adds, they will also accept any donations of books, purses and houseware item. The rummage sale is open to the public.
